Cookie Policy
This page explains what cookies and similar technologies Intel Core Strata uses, why we use them, and how you can control them.
1. What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file stored on your device by your browser. We also use localStorage for non-essential preferences (e.g. theme, learning-progress chip). For brevity we refer to all of these as “cookies” below.
2. Categories of cookies we use
Strictly necessary (always on)
- Authentication token — stored in
localStorageafter login so you stay signed in. Required to use the dashboard. - Cookie-consent state — remembers your choice from the banner so we don’t prompt you again on every page load.
- Theme & UI preferences — light/dark mode, sidebar layout.
- Campaign attribution (
ics_first_touch,ics_last_touchinlocalStorage) — if you arrive via a tracked link (/go/…) or a URL with UTM parameters, we remember which campaign brought you (source, medium, campaign, post id, click time) so that a later signup can be credited to the right channel. Contains no identity data and is sent to us only if you register. See the Privacy Policy for the matching server-side click record and its 180-day retention.
Analytics (optional — only after consent)
- PostHog — anonymised product analytics (page views, feature usage, error counts). IPs are anonymised, session recording is disabled, and we use identified-only profiles. Loaded only after you accept analytics in the banner.
Service cookies set by Stripe
When you use the checkout or billing portal, Stripe sets its own cookies on checkout.stripe.com and billing.stripe.com. These are documented in Stripe’s cookie policy.
3. Managing your choices
You can change your analytics consent at any time by clicking the button below or clearing your browser data. Disabling analytics does not affect access to the Service.
4. Browser-level controls
Most browsers allow you to block or delete cookies via their settings. Doing so may break login and other essential features.
